Events in Florence this July second part
4.Movement – Dance Festival Florence
The Bargello museum and many other places will be the venue between the 25th and 27th of July for a two-day-and-night long dance festival. Look out for the FlorenceDanceCard that you should be able to find at the Bargello in advance. You’ll get to see an extra performance for free. The eighth edition for this event will have the theme “Bargello in Danza”, with varying dance styles from Tango to Choreographed performances and Flamenco. Roberto Zappala is invited as a special performing guest, along with Chiorgo Zafiropulo.
5.Fox Valley Honors Orchestra
St Mark’s English church via Maggio 16 will be the location where The Fox Valley Honors Orchestra will perform, the composers hailing from Wisconsin, USA. The concert is completely free, so you don’t have to pay to enter and the performance will take place on the 8th of July, from 6pm to 7pm.
6.The Season Festival
The interdisciplinary festival aptly named The Season started on the 31st of May. You have until the 4th of August to enjoy the events at the New York University’s Villa La Pietra on the outskirts of Florence, again entrance free. Expect to witness a combination of concerts, art exhibitions, outdoor theatre performances and Alessanro Raveggi’s ‘Writer’s Season’, described as a “series of dialogues with poets and fiction writers”.
