6 – Piazza Del Mercato Centrale Market – Looking for a more intimate culinary experience? From Monday to Saturday, between 7am and 2pm, look for the large tent nearby the San Lorenzo flea market. You’ll be able to see Florentine butchers doing their daily work, rabbits, pig. All kinds of dead animals. Not recommended for vegetarians, vegans, animal rights proponents. Although, there are some cheeses and other assortments you can pick up while you’re there.

7 – San Miniatio al Monte – Again, for the cost of a glass of bottle of wine. A wonderful outing to take is to take your freshly purchased beverage and head on down to San Miniato al Monte church and cemetery. You can take a 12 bus from the Santa MariaNovella train station to get there. Well known as one of the greatest Romanesque pieces of architecture and places of tranquillity in Tuscany. 8 – Free Classical Concerts – The Scuola di Musica do Fiesole is a music school founded by Piero Farulli. With the many competition awards earned by the children and adults that have taken part in this project, you can take advantage of their incredibly talents by attending one of their concerts down by the Via delle Fontanelle, which are on occasion admission free.
